There are definitely a few things that fit in this category. 1. NOT having to be single is a big plus...the dating/single game is horrible. 2. Being able to be a stay-at-home mom. 3. Having a best friend around all the time to talk to, have fun with, and be myself.
ReplyDeleteSo, I know that's 3 things and not 1...but they are all tied for 1st place.
If I have to pick one thing it would be everything. Okay, okay, I love having someone to talk to and someone that understands what I am thinking (If there is anyone who can make any sense of my random acts of silliness, Ben would be the person.)I would miss the intimacy. The hugs, kisses, and sweet acts of love that we share. There are a lot of little things but those are the main things I can think of.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best things about being married is not having to deal with the single-dating scene (like Bethany said). Even in my day I was tired of all of that and just glad to be married!
ReplyDeleteAnother thing is being able to know you are on the right path and your future is more clear. I always felt right about who I married and so that was a plus!
I enjoy having a family and a home of my own. I also prefer the comfort of marriage to the rocky dating life. I feel as though if I were still single, I may be more prone to staying put instead of progressing forward spiritually.
