Right Now

If you were given $1 million dollars right now, what would you do with it? What if you were required to spend it all right now, what would you spend it on?

  1. I would probably save a chunk of it for Tyson's schooling (if I didn't have to spend it right now) so we didn't have to get into debt. There isn't too much I NEED right now except for Tyson's school and our living expenses. So, I'd save the rest for when I really did need it.

If I had to spend it all right now, I'd probably see if we could figure out a way to "pre-pay" for med school, get insurance (I'd get that even if we didn't have to spend it right now), maybe get a bunch of new clothes, baby things, another car (like a van or something). I dunno...I'd probably have to make out a plan and figure out what I could actually get with a million that would be most beneficial to me and Tyson.

  2. I would pay my tithing and taxes and discover that I was down to a half a million. I might put some aside for traveling and family vacations and then probably save (invest) the rest of it.

If I had to spend it all right now, Maybe I would give $50,000 to each of my kids, have a great time doing some humanitarian/Church contributions, and go on a few trips.

  3. I would buy at least one car. I would also pay for Ben's schooling and adoption. The rest I would pay towards our house. I would also pay tithing and give some to charity.

  4. If I didn't have to spend it all immediately, I would probably make good education funds for my kids and put the rest into retirement investments. Of course, we would pay tithing and taxes and perhaps put a small amount towards finishing our basement.

On the other hand, if I were required to spend it all right now, I'm sure we'd pay taxes and tithing, finish our basement and do some other miscellaneous house upgrades, prepay for karate and piano lessons for Brayden and prepay for piano and dance lessons for McKell. I'm sure we'd take a family trip and we would also give a chunk to charity. If there were still some left over, I'm sure Shawn's truck could be replaced and we could get that dump of a truck out of our driveway!
