What church callings have you served in? Which calling were you in the longest? Which one(s) did you enjoy the most?

  1. My first callings were in Beehive, Mia Maid, and Laurel classes in the presidencies. In college I was a ward missionary, visiting teaching supervisor, extraction committee, and RS 1st counselor. Since then I've been a primary teacher for the 8-9 year olds. I may have done more callings but I can't think of them right now (I've apparently never lived in the same location long enough to keep a calling for longer than 2 years...after all I went to 4 different colleges and moved multiple times while at each college). I'm not sure which callings I was in the longest, they were all pretty close to the same amount of time. But my favorite would have to be the ward missionary when I was at SUU or extraction committee at SLCC.

  2. My first callings (like Beefy) were in Young Womens as a Beehive, Mia Maid and Laurel. I've also been Primary pianist, Primary teacher (over several different age groups), Ward missionary, YW Personal Progress Coordinator, YW Secretary, YW 1st Counselor, YW President, 1st Counselor in the Stake YW Presidency, and RS President. I'm not sure which ones I've been in the longest, but I've mainly served in the Primary and YWs programs. RS President was completely out of the blue. I really enjoy YW, though at times it can be emotionally draining. Being in the RS has been good because it has really strengthened my testimony of the importance of Relief Society.

  3. I have been in several callings. Primary: President, teacher, nursery leader. Young Womens: Laurel advisor. RS: President and counselor at the Bennion Care Center, instructor, VT, homemaking leader. Regional welfare and humanitarian missionary. I mostly love the calling that I am at when I'm there but I can say I loved being at the Care Center because it gave me a chance to know the older people more personally and laurel advisor I loved because it forced me to think about the gospel principles on a daily basis. I was at the care center for 10 years, reginal welfare for 7 years, and laurel advisor for 6 years.

  4. My first calling was in the Beehive presidency I believe as the Beehive class president. I have been in several music callings. I have been music coordinator, choir conductor, and have conducted music a lot but can't remember if that was ever an actual calling. In my college wards I have been FHE teacher, Relief Society president, enrichment leader, and ward mission leader. My last calling was teacher for the Sunbeam class and then I moved with them when they moved on to the CTR. That was probably one that I enjoyed a lot. The kids were so happy and loved to learn. Now, my most recent calling in my new ward is nursery leader. I substituted a lot in the nursery in my Boise ward and am very excited to have that calling.

  5. It would be easier to answer which callings I have not had. Here goes: Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher and presidency, Webelos den leader, Blazer scout leader, Scoutmaster, Deacons advisor, Varsity leader. Priest advisor, Elders Quorum presidency and president, High Priest Group leadership and Group leader, assistant clerk, executive secretary, bishopric, bishop, stake YM secretary, stake YM presidency, stake executive secretary, high council, assistant stake clerk, missionary, father. That is all I can remember.
