I've lived in Utah and for a short time, Idaho. I've travelled to several states in the US (not sure I can name them all), Canada, a few places in Europe, and Mexico. My favorite places were probably New York and Paris.
I've only lived in Utah and Idaho. Most of the states I've vacationed in are the western states (especially camping places). Outside of the western US, I've also been to Tennessee, New York, South Carolina, Texas and Illinois. I've travelled through other states to get to the ones listed above, but I don't really count that as "being there." I've also been to Canada, China, and Mexico. My favorite place by far is China. I would love to go back there some day. It's also nice to visit Canada and to go back to Shawn's home town...I love the Calgary Stampede!
I grew up in Southern California and lived in El Monte, Duarte, Glendora, Centralia, Fountain Valley, and Huntington Beach. My first year of college was at Orange Coast Junior College in Costa Mesa, California and I lived at home in Huntington Beach, Orange County, California. My second year of college was at BYU in Provo, Utah County, Utah and I lived in Taylor Hall in Helaman Halls. I took a leave of absence from college for 2 years to serve a mission in the Japan Okinawa Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I lived 2 months in Laie, Hawaii at the Missionary Training Center at the Church College of Hawaii to learn Japanese. In Japan, I lived in Okayama, Kobe, Nagoya, Kasugai, and Gifu. While in Kobe, I had the privilege to serve for 5 months at the World's Fair in Osaka conductng groups of people through the Church Pavilion. At the conclusion of my mission, I was given special permission to visit relatives in Kobe, Shingu (where my mother lived during the war), and Kumamoto (where my father's family live). I returned to BYU until I graduated with a Master of Science degree. Four months after returning from my mission, I married Julie Marilyn Namba from Bennion, Salt Lake County, Utah and we lived in a basement apartment in Provo. We moved into married student housing in Wymount Terrace. While we lived at Wymount Terrace, we had our first three children, Emily, Rebecca, and Laura. After graduation, we moved to Millcreek, Salt Lake County, Utah for 9 months. I worked with my father-in-law, Masato Namba delivering produce around the valley and was a laborer for him building custom homes. We built and moved into our current home in Taylorsville, Salt Lake County, Utah while employed by Mas. I worked for Mas four years, then with Hercules at a Systems Programmer for 4 years, then for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ever since.
As a family, we enjoyed many camping and fishing experiences in Utah. We visited Provo River (upper and lower), Strawberry Reservoir and tributaries, Diamond Fork canyon, Hobble Creek, Nebo Creek, Weber River, Utah Lake, Starvation Reservoir, Flaming Gorge Reservoir and the Green River below the dam, Bear Lake, Logan River, Otter Creek Reservoir, Deer Creek Reservoir, Little Deer Creek, and Fish Lake. We also visited several National and State Parks in Utah, including, Capitol Reef, Zions, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Arches, Dinosaur, Great Basin, Goblin Valley, Dead Horse Point, Cedar Breaks, Snow Canyon, Great Salt Lake, Topaz Mountain, Geode beds, Hell's Backbone, and Skyline Drive.
Out of Utah places I have been include: Seattle-Tacoma, Washington, San Francisco, Solvang, Yosemite, Golden Gate, Mammoth, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Farmer's Market, Dodger Stadium, Glendale, La Brea Tar Pits, La Canada, Huntington Libraries, Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Newport-Balboa, San Diego Temple, Los Angeles Temple, Oakland Temple, Palm Springs, Coachella, Salton Sea, Dana Point, San Dimas Dam, San Gabriel Dam, Hoover Dam, Thousand Palms, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, Galveston, San Antonio, New Orleans, Orlando, Crystal Springs, Tampa-St. Petersburg, Charleston (SC), Kansas City, Independence (MO), Far West, Adam Ondi Ahman, Springfield (IL), Nauvoo (IL), Carthage (IL), Nashville, Raleigh-Durham, Boston, Washington D.C., New York City, Palmyra, Niagra, Buffalo, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Chicago, Omaha, Council Bluffs, Winter Quarters, Mormon Trail, Martin's Cove, Denver, Fort Collins, Phoenix, and Philmont Scout Ranch.

It is hard to say which is my favorite. It would be inside the United States. My favorites are Seattle, California, Orlando, Boston, Washington D.C., and New York.
I have traveled to most of the states in the United States (haven't been to Minnesota, North Dakota, Hawaii and Alaska that I can think of). Also I have been to Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, China, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman.
I have enjoyed most of the places I have been to but like the good old USA the best. I especially love the Church sites (Nauvoo, Liberty Jail, Independence, Palmyra). I actually really love to go the St. George!
I've lived in Taylorsville, Utah most of my life. I also lived in Logan.
